Theresse Major is Sri-Lankan born. She came to the
Isle Of Skye, newly married, in 1987. Everyone loved her
village-style curries and how she adapted them to
local ingredients.

In the early nineties, she set up a small take-away, called Curry In A Hurry. Building on the success of this venture, she created the Curry Mix a pre-packed selection
of spices, ready to use.

Her subsequent return, with her family, to Sri Lanka facilitated the sourcing of the best and freshest ingredients in order to expand the business.

Out of this island connection, Therssys Village Curry was born.

We are traders of the 21st century and follow in the footsteps of the many nations who discovered the wonderous spices of this tropical island in previous times.
